Roy Upton founded AHP in 1995 to bring the knowledge base of herbal medicine into one monograph system as a way to allay consumer and practitioner fears about using herbal medicines and to rebuild our cultural knowledge base about the value of herbal medicine to individual, community, societal, and environmental health. John Cardellina II PhD<\/strong>

John Cardellina is a specialist in all aspects of natural products chemistry and served at the National Cancer Institute for 14 years, the Council for Responsible Nutrition for almost five years, and was a distinguished scientist at McCormick & Co., Inc. for almost three years. He is also past President of the American Society for Pharmacognosy (ASP); is currently a collaborator in the Botanical Adulterants Prevention Program of the American Botanical Council (ABC), AHP, and National Center for Natural Products Research (NCNPR); and serves as Chair of the Board of AHP and Chair of the ASP Foundation.<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column]

Steven Yeager is Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Affairs at MRH. He has been at MRH since 2007.Steven serves as an elected trustee of the American Herbal Products Association (AHPA) and is currently participating with many of AHPA’s committees and is chair of the AHPA Standards Committee \u00a0He also serves on the Board for the AHPA Foundation for Education and Research on Botanicals, United Plant Savers, American Herbal Pharmacopoeia, and the Native Plant Society of Oregon.
